How popcorn pops
This text is about how delectable popcorn pops. We all love to eat popcorn but sometimes some of us would like to know how it's made?

First there is the kernel which is a hard shell or more commonly known as the hull, the hull is used to protect the seed to keep it from popping. The reason why it pops is because when you put it in the microwave enough steam structures  in the hull which causes it to pop and turn into starch. Some kids think that if they take a popcorn seed and plant it in their backyard they can grow their own popcorn tree but sadly no, it is because that popcorn is a different species of corn not the ones you eat more regularly. Although what's inside of it popcorn? Well there's something called the endosperm which is the seeds fuel that energises it to grow then there is the germ which would slowly develop into a plant.

Now you know how popcorn pops, when too much pressure fills the inside of the hull it causes the steam to rush out and eventually pop and you also know that there is something called the endosperm which is the seeds fuel and the germ helps it develop into a plant.
